James, it was an excellent essay about Theil, et al. Thanks. I don't know how to fight it but things built, can be torn down. The whole plan is despicable and we have been stupid and too unaware. Like most despicable human endeavors, however, I hope it collapses under the weight of arrogance, infighting, greed, lust for power, and the "serving classes" resistance. They are wealthy and clever but soulless and empty. I just hope they trip over their own feet eventually. Their kind of conquering madness always ends. They underestimate their opponents. This is another reason why I was disappointed when many Black people said that "they are sitting this one out." I am not saying that we should be in the streets and putting our lives on the line, but acting as though deportation can't happen to African Americans is a false narrative. This government will do everything it can to make their "white dream" come true. We should be working with the Latino community and other brown communities to prevent some of the things that are happening. Of course, that means working with those who want to work with you and open to change. As a British/Latino/Caribbean I am quite aware that I am seen the same as any Black person or person of colour, there is no safety within my personal nationalism or culture; we have to fight together, or we will be doomed to die together.

We need to seize control: overturn the court rulings of ReThuglican judges (and remove them from their seats); overturn the ReThuglican tax laws; disgorge the billionaires of their assets (perhaps even -- gasp -- "nationalize" them!); recognize the importance of the environment; get out of our endless wars; stop the support of genocide (in Gaza, Lebanon, and elsewhere); recognize that our "Constitution" no longer works, because it guarantees the possibility of the crises we face right now; etc., etc., etc.

Sadly, people in the US have no idea that they have been mindlessly voting against their own class interests for decades. The smugness of White people (not only the poor; even the middle class) on this score is regrettable. Women, too, must wake up, although I hasten to append that a convincing majority -- over fifty percent -- of White women voted for Trump in 2016, 2020, and 2024!

It's not about racial wars it's all to do with technology. Yarvis and Musk have been selling this to the prez because they know his greed and need is bottomless. In the UK we are fighting with government to get what Palantir have already sold us out of the system. It's in our NHS and people who work with it say it isn't making anything easier like they claimed. That wasn't Palantir's point. Even if it's rejected the core of their software cannot be removed! Now the MOD is being sold this BS. This cannot be allowed to stand. To control the world they need to control the population. To control the population they need to know EVERYTHING about them. Orwell foresaw this eventuality and now it's become a reality. Your front runner for the presidency is Gavin Newsom who accepts money from the Tech industry which makes me believe they want to install him as the next President. California's Silicon Valley made the State rich, but for a damn good reason! They sell him to a public that is so gullible that all they consider are his stupid attack ads against little dick aka tRump as a reason to accept him. I think this will be playing right into their hands. Epstein did sell this to Israel's Barak and they are using it to cut the population down to a managable size. Hey Vee, this is why I’m 99.9% for independent media. You won’t hear any of these terms/words on the mainstream American media unless it’s regarding an investment transaction. What you say about Newsom is 100% correct. It’s gonna be hard for me to vote for his replacement because it appears in all the candidates for governor have ties to the Silicon Valley boys. In the meantime, I’m fortifying myself at home because I refuse, other than Substack, to participate in this next-level slavery. People can call me a Luddite if they want, but for those of us who have followed the rise of the computer state, we have seen the effects.
